What good has ever come from giving up on your dreams because some idiot says you aren’t capable enough? Think about it. There are numerous celebrities out there who were bullied in high school, but they managed to take that pain and turn their lives around. My favorite comedian now, Hasan Minhaj, seems to be living the life. And he is. But this fruitful career didn’t pop out of thin air. He had to work hard for it, and often with criticism from four sides.
Even if your dream isn’t very practical, that doesn’t mean you should toss your goals and aspirations out the window. Having a backup plan or side career may be beneficial for financial support during the process. Fight through the pick. I guarantee the struggle provides fulfillment in its own wondrous ways.
